The National Education Union is the largest union for teachers, lecturers and support staff in the UK. Their aim is to shape the future of education to benefit all of its members.
NEU wanted to launch a workload campaign to help bring about a sustainable reduction in the workload of education workers. They want teachers to have more time for teaching so as to ensure they can give each child the education they deserve.
NEU wanted to launch a workload campaign to help bring about a sustainable reduction in the workload of education workers. They want teachers to have more time for teaching so as to ensure they can give each child the education they deserve.
We developed a unified approach to create a design to engage with teachers across a range of media resources. The design nods stylistically to propaganda posters, with its use of a striking and bold mono type face to convey the emergency of the message. The primary colours and illustration style help to conjure the retro image of education.
The campaign went out on social media channels, in print and online.
